Course Details | Trades First Aid

The Synergy Success Network Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Course is a comprehensive 1 Day training programme designed to provide attendees with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to workplace emergencies.

The course runs from approximately 9:00am to 4:00pm and is delivered in person at our hub in Elm Grove. Upon successful completion, attendees will receive an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, which remains valid for three years upon completion.

What You'll Learn:

Throughout the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Course, attendees will gain the essential practical skills and knowledge needed to respond confidently in a workplace emergency. The course covers how to assess an incident quickly and safely and how to provide immediate care until professional help arrives.You will learn how to perform CPR effectively, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), place a casualty into the recovery position, and manage choking incidents. The training also covers how to control bleeding, treat minor injuries, and respond to a range of common workplace emergencies that may occur on site.

While this is a workplace first aid qualification, the skills you learn are highly transferable and can be confidently used in public situations or at home when responding to emergencies.

By the end of the course, you will feel confident in your ability to take action in emergency situations and support the safety of your team, workplace, and those around you.
